Joline Desruisseaux is a commercial litigation associate at White & Case LLP. Prior to that, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge William Alsup, United States District Judge for the Northern District of California. She worked at a global law firm in San Francisco, California, where she represented clients in a variety of disputes, including class actions, securities litigation, products liability, white collar investigations, and other disputes.
Joline graduated from Vanderbilt Law School in 2020 where she was a finalist in the Bass, Berry, & Sims Moot Court Competition and for the Best Brief Award. She has experience at the Nashville District Attorney's office and has worked as an Appeals Hearing Officer for the Tennessee Department of Labor. Joline published an article with the Virginia Journal of Criminal Law and worked in Vanderbilt’s Criminal Defense Clinic. A fluent French speaker, Joline has also volunteered translation services with Vanderbilt’s Immigration Clinic to assist francophone refugees.
